Dear Agents:
Thank you for your continued interest and support of the Healthy Texas program. As you know, the Healthy Texas program includes the Cost Sharing Account (CSA) program which is funded through a separate federal funding source. The CSA has always been considered a pilot program and the funding for it has always been limited. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the Celtic Healthy Texas Health Plan and the high number of eligible participants for the CSA program, we will reach our limit for enrolling new participants into the CSA program by April 29, 2011. As a result, we will not be able to enroll any new participants in the CSA program, but will continue enrolling eligible employers and employees in the Healthy Texas program. We look forward to updates on future availability of the CSA program and will promptly communicate any new information to you.
The Celtic Healthy Texas Health Plan premiums will continue to be a cost effective option for Small Groups with savings as high as 30%. We believe this plan continues to promote and enhance small business growth and economic success in your community.
