Check Your CA Blue Shield Dec Commissions

hearing from multiple sources that Blue Shield CA has underpaid agents by 1/2 to 2/3 of actual commission on this run. Mine was about 60% below normal, others as much as 75% with lots of zeros in the commission column.

While I'm sure a lot of it may just be an error, I wouldn't be surprised to see folks skip their December payment if they are switching carriers. I have had several folks question why they have to pay their December premiums if they have guaranteed issue coverage lined up for 1/1/14. Sigh.
