CMS True Up Error? Any Recourse?

I have three ICEP members, who I received the initial payment.

The CMS true up payment was then not paid, because the insurance company said that they never recieved authorization from CMS to pay it.

They also said that their policy is not to inquire about true up issues with CMS.

What would you do?

Stop selling MA plans. No wait, that's what I did.

Consider it pro bono work. The amount of time and trouble will not be worth the monies you may or may not get.

Don't mention it to the applicants, because they will feel bad, and it's not their fault.

Well if they're ICEP and just getting started on MA's....AEP enrollment is around the corner. Rewrite them into another company plans in Oct and start over for 2011. We only have 5 months to go before the new cycle hits.

Your commis will be prorated but beats zero.
