Does anyone know of companies other than Midland National that contract direct with agents? It is possible to offer an array of quality products and by pass the IMO middle men ?
Unless you are going to bring in a solid level of production, you may find you are paid more through a distribution channel vs going direct. Negotiated commission based on volume.
If you want competitive products then often you need the carriers that go through IMOs. Most carriers allow the agent to deal direct with the carrier, even when contracted through an IMO.
