Companies that Don't Require Phone Interveiw.

phone interviews are actually good for the agent in my opinion. protects them when the client by recording their answers, and in most cases gives an immediate decision rather than a decline later.

however sometimes i do like to have the option to send in an app without a ph interview (hard of hearing, no time)

From what you are saying shouldn't you know 100% of the time or not be in FE sales?

You will only know what you are told by the client as well as what you observe. [for instance if you see o2 generator in the corner - who uses that machine?]

We've all been duped a time or two by the client who just happened to forget to tell you about the open heart surg they had last yr. Deception is out there, fortunately it is a rather small factor. Aside from deception you should be able to say with almost 100% certainty... but then there are always those med codings in MIB which are correct and the client is not aware [copd, chf, etc], or are incorrect then the nitemare of a new diagnosis.

Or a med that they took a year and half ago that they no longer take and have legitimately forgotten about but is in the 2 or 3 year window that the company asks about.

People that actually write business know about these issues. Marketers do not.

Had one recently where lady 69yo went to emerg room 5 months ago... had stomach issues/pains and emerg rm didn't render diagnosis but being their very cautious self prescribed NITRO to her before she left the hosp just in case she had chest pains later... They didn't think she was having a HA but in the spirit of knowing some an ambulence chaser would fire them up real good if she died later that night due to a HA... so they were covering their own azz. So lady had to get her PCP to write a letter stating their is NO history of heart problems or HA, ever and that the Rx was purely precautionary. Done, issued after that. Wow.

In this case the lady truely wasn't even aware or didn't remember having been prescribed the nitro until it surfaced by the Script ck.
