I did a 1035 exchange.
Client wants to take a withdrawl.
New company tells me they won't process withdrawl until they get the cost basis from old company.
A week back and forth with old company and they send wrong cost basis. I ask for correct basis, I keep getting the run around. They Will fax in 2 days, etc., it never comes. I get client on the phone with old company, they promise it will come by end of day, it never comes. Back and forth.
What else can I do?

Update:
I finally get the cost basis. Had to keep moving up the chain of command to a manager. Had to really be persistent and a bit forceful to get them to do anything. Glad that done.
