I have been working on finding a solution for a client who owns a new Jeep Wrangler that is valued ~$25,000 before any customization. He has since added $50,000 in parts including axles, wheels, winch, skid plates, suspension, etc.
I have checked with Allied-Nationwide, Progressive, Safeco, Travelers, Hartford, Encompass, Dairyland, Hagerty, and Kemper and the only option thus far is a Stated policy with Progressive. We don't like the overall premium (multiple cars, homes and umbrella) with Progressive and would rather stay away from stated value policies.
Can anyone think of a particular carrier that can help with the amount of insurance AND cover the loss if it happens while not on a public road?
