SEC Rule 151A was tossed. Thereby ending the ruling that FIA's would become securities.

My BD doesn't require they be submitted through them. They only want to know what carriers their reps have done business with and which products. Of course, you also have to disclose this type of business on the OBA form.

I know every B/D is different but with the failure of 151A Producers should be able to push back and tell them nothing more than a disclosure on the OBA....I've since left my B/D and have been happy for the last 12 dayss.
