No. It's less enticing now that subsidies are available and a penalty will be issued for non-credible plans. I'm sure people will still use it, it still does have its niche.
Dental/Vision/RX discount cards will probably be as popular as ever. The ones that pay a commission for use will probably skyrocket as brokers/navigators hand them out like candy as they try to diversify their income streams. $0.25 every time someone uses a card can be a tidy income if you hand a few thousand out.

Any recommendations on the best one out there? For prescriptions, I mean. Cheapest, preferred.
To tell the truth, all the RX Discount Cards I've seen are basically on the same level. They're all hit or miss, they all offer "up to" the same percentage savings, they all work the same way. CAP Card, MedAmerica, BigAppleRX, YourRXCard, NeedyMeds, eBestRX, etc.
IMO, the only thing that makes one better than the other is if they let you brand the card with your company colors/info, and the ones that pay you. To the user, they might as well all be the same. We have 3 different ones in our reception area, besides a pharmacy chain being added or left out, they're near identical.
We've handed out about 5000 so far (in house, at tradeshows, etc), at 25 cents a usage, and a minimum $25 transfer (aka, 100 uses) We haven't been paid yet. People forget, or they throw them out, or they have an RX plan and these things rarely beat your copay. The companies provide us a monthly report, and they do get used, but very sporadically.
