Have been reading every possible post I can find regarding senior products and marketing. Recently came across a company that markets DME products here in FL. and was thinking this could be a great way to get in front of many seniors to teach them about other insurance products as well. Has anyone here tried this mktg. technique and how has it worked out? Thanks !

It looks like a scam, it feels like a scam and it smells like a scam.

You would better to just have tupperware parties and then try to impose insurance on your guests.

You would have the same reputation either way.

Not true at all, i've been in business for 25 years and have used DME companies for over 10. They are not all scams. I've done very well with them, you just have to use common sense and pick the right company. Carefull of what advice you take!

Your MO is pretty easy to figure out. You are already on here advocating to cross sell at MA appointments. Now, you promote a scam.

The clock is ticking on you, you just don't know it yet. Yes, indeed, be careful of the advice one takes.

I dont know who this moron is, but you asked a question and I gave you an answer. The problem with these types of forums is unsuccesful agents such as this gentleman just browse through hear and find ways of bashing their competition instead of helping people. Get a life my friend maybe this is why you arent very successful and play online all day!

I thought you were Parker and Asses, this leads me even more to that conclusion.

You might not agree with everything he says, but JDeasy is not a moron by any means... JD is a good guy.

I'm split with JD, sometimes he makes some excellent points and has solid info, and other times I think he's way off base. I think calling him an unsuccessful moron is an interesting foot to get started off on considering Gerard has only made a handful of posts and most of them are about DME stuff. I don't think he's really gotten to know JD well enough to make a comment one way or the other.

From what my associates in the DME industry tell me, you can't solicit for DME products anymore than you can directly market MA products. There's an organization called Relief Health Services that will give you a couple of bucks if you send them referrals, but they're wanting to get the referrals from agents because they can't directly market themselves. That being said, if we were leading in with a Med supp you can probably do both without any problems.

You're being worked boys and it's by more than one user on this thread. You know what they say... if you don't know who the sucker at your poker table is...
