0% important. Yet I have one. It's on my business card, so I guess I have to keep it. I picked it up when I gave Med supps over the phone a try.
Also have a 866 fax. Only person who Has ever faxed me was another agent/carrier.

I have one for the sole purpose of weeding out the recruiting robo calls. When they call me they have to press 1 or 2 in order for it to ring my cell so the robo calls don't make it though

F2F guys probably zero percent.
I have thought of getting rid of mine for years. But like you it is printed on everything. Same as my office number. However, more than half of my calls come to my G Voice number. I am sure i get more text and calls to my cell.
Probably a good time to take it off of everything I guess.

Careful with the 800#'s... your client might dial a wrong number and get the wrong impression... your receptionist might be proposing more than the sell of just life insurance...

There's this timeshare resort in Las Vegas that has a similar number to American Express. One day I was a bit dyslexic and ended up talking to a pirate who was SOOOO excited that I just won a FREE trip!!!I remember the first time (and it was an 800#) I called a wrong # expecting one thing and got something else... felt a bit dirty all over...
