I have been looking for a wholesaler like Smart Choice, Iriqois, etc. I found this Insurance Producers Network. There are not threads on them on this site. I have been taking this website's advise for almost a year. So I thought I would see what y'alls knowledge is.They seem to have all the carriers available that any commercial or personal business I run into they would have what I need to get the business. Insurance Noodle focuses too much on Commercial and some of the other wholesalers don't have a few of the carriers I would like to eventually get appointed with.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would recommend IPN to anyone wishing to become independent simply because you truly own your own practice without the fear of production numbers, life sells etc. You run your practice with one thing in mind…your clients!

I also like the fact that there are no huge start-up fees and that I have the ability to grow my own book of business. The options that I have with IPN and the opportunity that it provides outmatches the other Independent groups and any captive opportunity that I have looked at. IPN allows me to live where I want and do business in whatever state I choose to go into. Long term benefits are much higher than the short term sacrifice.

I noticed you are in Alabama, not sure if IPN would consider opening agencies in Alabama. They/we are expanding into other states, so you may want to call them. I've been with IPN for 2+ years and it's everything advertised and more. Great company, high integrity, good people...only regret is I didn't find them sooner. I don't know anyone else like IPN. Matt and the IPN agents are great to work with...close, friendly, fun. One of the things I appreciate the most is they don't recruite agents...Matt will not try to sell you on IPN. In fact, just the opposite. They are more interested in finding the right partners than adding agents. I appreciate that. They respect other companies agent structure. With that said, I can't say it's easy to join. They are very selective and careful not to disrupt the culture and agent relationship. It took 4 months before I was accepted or invited to join. But the process is well worth it. Where else do you get 90/10 commission split with a CAP of $1,000, 80/20 split on profit sharing? And I OWN my book? Just know the process is slow...but I highly recommend them. Check out their website. insuranceproducersnetwork dot com.

Good luck in your quest.
