Doing the Dirty Door to Door!!

Hello all! I just want to share the success that I have been having going door to door. I have been knocking on doors from 5-8pm for the last week. Some don't answer, some look at you weird, but some are actually very receptive. I am a big believer in consultative sales and thats the approach that I am taking at the door. I don't try to sell them insurance on the first contact, however, I sell Farmers and more importantly myself and set an appointment for another day. I don't understand why no one had ever mentioned this to me as a marketing approach. It's free, healthy (the walking part) and sure beats making phone calls!!!

Walking and Talking is a tried and true method that has always worked because it is about customer contact, differentiation and allows the power of numbers to eventually work in your favor.

Congratulations on being pro-active. I won't knock Farmers; as I have two of their career agents that rent houses from me. Good luck.
