I have the opportunity to work on a 6 location Dominos chain if I want to. As you might guess, hired & nonowned is the issue.

Anyone know of a relatively competitive market for this coverage?

For what it is worth, I am in Illinois. I'd rather live in California but I can't afford it :1mad:

are you SURE the insurance isnt covered thru corp? I tend to see that most often.

Check to see if the stores are "franchised" or "corp. owned". If franchised talk 2 the franchisee, if corp. owned contact the corp. office contact info from the store's mgr.

come to think of it, the corps usually have an approved list of insurance companies you can use

Hired and non-owned wouldn't be much of an issue. It's pizza delivery that is the issue.

I assume this chain is in IL, not CA? I can't help in IL.

Isn't non-owned the problem? Most chains around here don't have owned delivery vehicles (in fact I don't know any that do). The driver uses his or her own car.

Not corporate owned but owned by a local franchisee. Pizza delivery is done by employees in their cars, thus, non-owned auto is indeed the issue. I don't have access to Hartford sorry to say.

All I meant is I can write non-owned coverage without a problem, except when it comes to pizza delivery, then I don't have a carrier who will touch it.

Yes, you definitely need non-owned coverage, but a click of the mouse and that is done, at least with most of my carriers on a commercial policy. Of course, this is based on California. Your mileage (and coverages) may vary.
