E-Health Medicare Agents Doing Harm

Just had a scenario where I talked with a beneficiary currently enrolled in an MAPD plan who was advised by an E- Health Medicare agent that he should cancel his MAPD plan and begin his supplement coverage effective November 1st 2014!!!!!!

Unbelievable!:1mad:

If the beneficiary expressed unhappiness in the MAPD and October is the last month of his trial right--assuming he's eligible--that would not be bad advice.

Yes, IF................................
Right. If. So unless you know otherwise--and you did not include that detail--it's unknown whether the advice was good, or, as in your title, harmful.

But, then again, what are the chances that a call center agent at E-Health would have the faintest idea what a trial right is.

I've been at this a while now and I've never seen such misinformation out of agents to prospects as I've seen this year. Use it to your advantage people!

Call centers around the country are ramping up just to try to cash in throwing mud against the wall hoping it sticks. Not saying E-Health is one of them or not, but the things people are telling me that they say other agents are telling them lately are absolutely off the charts and like nothing I've ever heard.
