Equipment Rental in IL

I've a client that is thinking of renting out a few of his forklifts and his telehandler to other contractors and the general public. I know this will be a tough risk to place, especially being a new venture. Anyone know of companies that will cover this exposure in IL? What are some of the obstacles/pit falls writing this type of business?
