I have an agency doing $1.2 Million per month. I'd like to figure out some options on where I can contract with Ethos? I'm looking to get the highest possible contract, anyone have any feedback if going direct is better or if there is an IMO I should reach out to that is not FFL.

If you go direct, they only pay as earned and you'll top out at 90%-ish (can't remember the exact number).

Reach out to Jimmy McMillan. He works closely with Ethos and can get you a high agency contract with advances and help you with the ins and outs of their platform.

Here's a link to schedule a call.

Just know that although Ethos is very legit, their customer support is horrendous. Your customer will also get the same exact policies directly through the carrier itself for MUCH cheaper instead of using Ethos because their fees are ridiculous. The only way Ethos is a good fit for a customer is if that customer has literally done zero price comparisons.

It's maybe 20% more for the convenience.

Understand that a lot of people don't want to talk with an agent. If you have a big pool of potential customers, as an agent you should 100% have them in your bag.

I understand that but if you're an agent working with Ethos, you need to understand that Ethos's agents will also be calling your customers NON-STOP, as in 5-7 times a day in addition to texting them 3-4 times a day with email as well. Don't think Ethos doesn't also have a bunch of people calling those customers also. It's not what it's advertised to be. And God help your customer if they're trying to buy a TruStage policy -- tech problems galore with the solution being "reapply and hope for the best". I'm not exaggerating. The best customer experience is when they get an approval with Banner Life, which is still much more expensive than it would be going through any other broker or directly through Banner. When a customer is "approved" for a TruStage policy, they're only actually approved sometimes. It tells them they're approved but in reality, they're not. It's a giant mess and headache.
