Was in my local bank this afternoon and they had posters promoting Final Expense on the walls. They have an in house agency but they used to only go after the estate planning and business cases. Now, they are hawking cancer plans on their website and FE on their walls.

Vantis is mainly sold by banks. 2-year graded for everyone makes it very simple. No health questions to ask.
 
Banks and credit union have sold FE since the beginning of time. They probably didn't call it FE.

Credit unions sell CUMA policies and banks sell Vantis and others.

They are usually GI gimmicky policies so they can insure ANY bank customer as an impulse buy.

They are no problem to compete with.
 
I understand that.. It is just in the past, their agents liked to act as if they were above FE sales. They worked more "sophisticated" markets. :biggrin:

I think there has always been some of that. Newby mentioned once the pre need guys looked down at on the FE guys. Before I came to this forum I had a completely different view of who FE guys were.
