Here you go again Vets I'm sure you have seen this Title several time. I have read all the negative stuff about farmers on the net, and I'm sure it is all true. My deal is I have ZERO experience in the Insurance Field. is Farmers going to give the experience I need to move forward as an Independent agent? Or is it a big waste of time. Also does any one know of a Mr. Scott Hodges he is the DM in the area where I'm located. Is he cool or not cool.

Since you have no experience you can learn on there time. If you fail as most new agents do you would have lost nothing and gained a good experience you can use later.

You could also go work for a Farmers agent, get all your licenses paid for, gain some experience all while being paid and then go independent.

Why not ask other Farmers agents other than the DM for their opinion? Maybe you can get a feel of the DM through them.
