Is this the best???

Client is 80 years old, Male, cigarette smoker, no med condition in the past ten year ( he even wished to do a full med), and is priced at $280/month for $20K DB.

I have four carriers, and this is by far the cheapest, and he will qualify for...but I'm asking out of curiosity.

Lifetime Protector SG II with Genworth is one of only 2 GUL policies that I know of that will let you write a DB under 25K. The other company is United of Omaha, but it is more expensive.

The premium is $274 per month with Genworth.

If he is willing to do an exam, RNA is $208/mo.

That is a very good price. Is that a smoker rate?

Yep. That's tobacco rate for an 80 year old male for $20,000 whole life.

That's not their SIWL. It's fully underwritten. I've got an 82 year old female going thru the exam process now. She wants $15,000 and it's priced at about $110/mo.

She should qualify. No build issues and takes no meds. She recently qualified to change her med sup on an underwritten basis.

Pricewise, there is not a better value than RNA's Royal Prime Whole Life. Under age 66, there is not an exam. There are more underwriting questions than their SIWL. It's a great tool to have in competitive situations. I've had a few get rated at a table B or C. The premiums are still better with a small rating than most simplified issue stuff.
