Hey guys,

I just ran into a guy who yesterday bought a policy from Fidelity Life. This guy is 84 and has neuropathy. They said Fidelity gave them first day coverage on $10k for about 200 bucks per month.

Anyone know if in fact Fidelity would offer immediate coverage to someone who has neuropathy? Also, does anyone have a copy of their application?

not sure about their underwritng, but to my knowledge everything is completed electronically/esignature with Fidelity. Little surprised to hear them take a diabetic with neuropathy level. Good to know if true

But is it diabetic neuropathy? Neuropathy can come from other sources which might not be as much of a problem for an underwriter.

Good point and so true! I had my 'diabetes' blinders on and didn't think outside the box

Yes it was diabetic neuroapthy. This was an agent who met them at their house btw.

Wow thanks so much. It would seem that his diabetic neuropathy won't fly with them. I'll try to clarify and update this post when I know for sure.
