Fighting cancer's 'financial aftershocks' article in Financial Planning Magazine. The Pro Bono efforts these advisors are putting forth are laudable. However, they fail to mention once solution that might head off the "financial aftershocks" before they occur, offering clients an ancillary cancer expense plan. In fact, it would not surprise me if some of them might not hold to the idea that cancer insurance is a bad buy.
