Florida Carriers - Better Ones?

Anyone in Florida with knowledge of some that are better than others in overall evaluation categories?
I realize that the FL carriers for homeowners are very limited, in terms of financial strength. Just looking for the best of the not so hot, I suppose. Thanks.

ASI, Safeway, federated, people's trust, Gulf Stream, and universal. Most of those companies are no longer appointing. As you probably already know when it comes to Florida none of the companies are that financial stable and there is no more big names writing homeowners in the state. Homeowners is the way to go in Florida compared to auto for sure. Good luck.
