I have my 2-20 license. I will be teaming up with a mortgage bank creating a new division of the company providing insurance throughout 6 states.
--I have to get appointed by a company in FL (where to start?)
--From there I was going to use a whole-sale company in Texas named Agent Secure (the reason behind this was that I don't have a book of business to get appointments throughout the county)
--The states I will be doing business are (FL Licensed) (non-resident IL/MO/TX/KS/WA)

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated

Getting appointed in Florida isn't going to be easy.

What is the best way to get it done. Everybody had to start somewhere so I know it is possible. I worked for an agent for the last couple years but left to get my company started recently.

I am in Fort Myers, I got my 215 license in 2008..it has been a struggle, brother. Appointments are expensive in Florida. You will need a lot of capital(as I have found out!) to get going. You are going to need leads, lots of them, and they are expensive. I have yet to find a good group to join that will supply leads! ANYONE KNOW ONE, TURNME ON TO THEM!! Let me know if there is anything I can help with....
