For those of you who will be setting 5 appointments a day, come November 15, here is a service just for you.

As you know, CMS is clamping down on what you can and cannot say, and keeping records of every conversation. Well, if you don't want Ring Central (which will only record incoming calls), there is Unite PBX.

I met their President at a networking meeting. One of the features they have is automatic recording on all calls, both incoming and outgoing. They don't seem to have fax in or out capabilities, so it's not for me.

Honestly, why would you work a line of insurance where you have to record every conversation for the government?

I hope they at least give you a badge and a gun for working for the government. You can use it to arrest yourself later when they retroactively change the rules on you.

Would you please refer me to the section of CMS that says I need to record all my calls?

Not sure of your motivation with this thread but I would sincerely like to see what you are talking about when you speak of such recording requirements.
Looking forward to hearing from you as I plan on marketing and selling MANY MORE Medicare Advantage plans on a DAILY basis as I do now.

It is against the law in Illinois to record phone calls without both parties consenting to it. No consent then no recording.

From what I understand, in lieu of a SOA form, if the Medicare Beneficiary gives you verbal approval to speak with them, you are required to get a recording of the call.

That was the basis of the post.

If I am wrong, then the premise of my post is erroneous, and you have a valid point. I thought it would be a great tool as well, for those who want to cover their backsides, in case a Medicare Beneficiary suddenly gets amnesia. I, in no way, shape or form, benefit from this service.

It's just that the past few years there have been several agents who have mentioned that they do just as much phone enrollments, or an increasing amount, than they do face-to-face.

I don't even use this service. I use Ring Central, because of the faxing feature, which is a plus for me. I seem to have struck a nerve.

Please search for a thread listed as Call Recordings. I believe that poster was looking for something like this. Please enlighten him/her in the same professional manner you've enlightened me.

you can sell and enroll over the phone if you record it per cms. more effecient then door knocking.
