Anyone have any insight about Foremost as a non-standard carrier in NY State?

They want a minimum of 30K in premium first year and really all I want them for is to pick up some of the stuff other carriers don't want.

Can you get them through another source?

To me, this type of thing is what aggregators like superior access or insurance noodle are for. Not your day to day bread and butter, but when you need access to markets and don't want to carry the premium commitments.

Of course, if Foremost is at all reasonable, $30K shouldn't be that hard to pull off. If the rates are out of line in your area, it can be impossible. Its always a balancing act :)

30k is for the property side i think.

They will probably give you a warning one year later and say you never hit your mark. But 30k for property is like 20-30 homes shouldnt be too hard for a year!

Or send them to me ha ha i have foremost

What do they pay on home?

we do 60k/month in personal lines premium & maybe average 1.5k/month with foremost. they will be reserved for your vacant homes/poor credit monoline homes/dwellings under reno. we're part of SIAA and foremost doesn't care about a thing nor do we care about them except the random vacant home under reno where they pay as earned anyway.
