Great stuff Josh. Only thing I disagree with is asking them how they are doing at least in Chicago that doesn't work. Good stuff anyway.

yeah, that would get a lot of hangups in this part of the country. Reeks of a telemarketer, and is not genuine in my opinion... They know that a telemarketer doesn't care how they are doing!

This approach has worked pulled higher in Louisiana than any other area and has done well in many states. That said, I don't claim to have the silver bullet for every market (or any market for that matter). This is just an approach that has worked well for me and a number of other agents. If it's not working well in an agents neck of the woods, it's definitely a good idea to try changing it up.

FYI -- I use it cold calling in my B2B position (selling uniform services).

It works well -- throws a lot of the rejectionists off.

I can set 1 out of 20 cold calls for appointments asking how they're doing.

But it ain't FE/MedSupp.
