I'm a big fan of them in general...I'm not sure if "new" will equal "good" but hopefully they continue to market strong riders and the index that is uncapped isn't too restrictive.

it looks the rider will now offer a Stacking option to increase GMWB income- no doubt responding to Allianz

I have always been a fan of GALIC also, good company. I also like the Allianz Preferred products (even with the 222 spread going up this week, I still think it's a good product). It seems like everyone is coming out with a lower guarantee with stacking option - Allianz, SBL, Annexus, F&G, etc. I think they had to come out with something to compete with these carriers on that.

I think the CI7 is a good alternative, still 2% spread on that one and it's 7 year.

No love for Sig 7? Higher spread but no rider fee. Good option for pure accumulation...
