Generating Leads

I'm somewhat of a newbie to the insurance industry. I've been given an assignment to come up with leads for an agency I was hired on by in GA. I'm not required to obtain information only at this point. It is for solication purposes only. How would I go about doing this if I've reached a max level with the people I know. Which I would prefer to stay away from family and friends, and I don't have my business cards yet.

What do you mean that you are not required to "sale or obtain a commitment"? I know a real easy way to get 1,000.

Find someone who still has a phone book.
Open it up and you'll find its full of leads for you.

If the agency is not doing any sort of online marketing you should start there. Depending on the area you may be able to target locally for insurance terms relatively cheap. new Google adwords accounts can get $100 in free spend too.

I guess I shouldn't say not required to sale or obtain a committment. This will be done eventually, but just not at this moment.

These have to be scrubbed due to dnc listings. At this moment not going to quote, but will in the near future. If there is a way scrub them online for free that would be great!
