Getting E & O Insurance

Hi,

I am newly licensed for Life & Health in Massachusetts and am starting my own independent business. I am the only agent. I need to get E&O insurance but don't know how much coverage I need, or where to find a good deal on it.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks~

I'm going to shamelessly plug an Association - but here's the twist, it's not the ILIAA this time!

If you're just starting with health insurance, go join the IHIAA. You'll get some great training and a good deal on E&O as well.

If you plan on contracting with Foresters you can also pick up a plan they sponsor with Calsurance for $472/yr. Coverage includes Life, Health, Fixed and Variable Annuities, Mutual Funds.

That is a very good rate if it also covers variables and mutual funds. Any securities stuff is usually around $450 for the insurance products plus $295 or so for secs type products.
