GI for plan G with UHC loss of employer coverage

Ok so i know in Florida UHC will give GI even if loss of eghp is voluntary but question is about what will work as termination letter for GI.He currently has a group MA so i know enrollment in a PDP for 1/1 will end the group BCBS MA but is the disenrollment letter he will get from BCBS good for GI purposes or will they need something from his plan admin that says coverage is being termed?I called PHD but don't 100% trust what they said.

That letter should suffice.
Just did a MoO GI plan F for $389/month last week. He is dropping retiree coverage.

MoO underwriter emailed me directly and said to send her something that shows he has coverage or is losing it.

Today, I sent her the form he filled out and sent to his plan to cancel. Once she saw that, she immediately approved his policy. I thought for sure that wouldn’t be enough as it doesn’t really prove he has anything.

Makes we wish MoO wasn’t so bad with closing books. Uhc would never reach out to me personally to fix the issue.
