I got an email from some recruiter telling me they offer a free Lead Program. When he sent me over the info...he sent me to this webiste slaico.com Life and Accident / Health Insurance | Life Insurance | Annuities[/url] now I have been looking for some more info, but there are a few questions I have. It seems from the way he was talking that you have to to a phone interview but he said Phone Application, so that sent up a read flag. I know most Final Expense Companies as for a phone interview but this seems interesting...ever heard of these people?
 
Do a search on the forum for Standard Life. Not exceptional in the FE arena as far as price is concerned, as you mentioned , will do phone apps.

I Sure will and thank you for getting back to me on this. He told me they had a free mailing program for the agents but when I looked into it, its really not free.

Yes, telephone apps are their "niche". But, not many customer have all their necessary info at hand, on the first call anyway (doctor's exact info, prescrips, beneficiary's SSN, etc), so what's the point? Except for getting a Yes/No immediately?
But remember, you're ON THE PHONE! So, calling back doesn't take much time.

Many companies allow you to take an application by phone, without seeing the customer, and fax it in. If you're a good agent and know your product, you can tell when there's an approval 9/10 times- at least I can. (except the 1/10 customers who lie, of course)

Hell...really?.....I am quite aware there is nothing free in the business thanks so much for your input...I was just asking if anyone had heard of the folks....My goodness...
 
I am an MGA for them. Solid company and great rates. Usually beats Foresters on rates.

They have a two rate system for immediate coverage and a graded plan. Similar to Monumental. But they are not the same as Monumental when it comes to underwriting they are much tougher.

They have a phone app for every State they write and agent does not need to be present.

They have a great Health niche. MedSupp, critical illness, cancer plan and limited medical. All med policies may also be done by phone app as well and agent does not need to be present. GREAT FOR CROSS SELLING.

The recruiter stand corrected, Standard Life does offer the ability to sell final expense insurance over the phone. It is the platform of selling that makes it attractive for a lot of producers.

Standard Life's service is excellent and DOES OFFER an automatic lead generation program that provides 1,000 direct mail leads once the producer does at least $4,000 in annualized premium paid.

Global One Insurance Services has an IMO partnership with Standard and bonuses the agent at certain agent contract levels as much as 100% to match 1,000 direct mail leads, which means an agent can get 2,000 total direct mail leads for writing just $4,000 in annualized premium.

I'm sure there is, that's why no agent should represent one company and be a one-trick pony, that's why we are independent.

Selling over the phone, simply OFFERS an OPPORTUNITY to sell a policy that otherwise would normally be done face to face and typically at times with the additional step of getting a wet signature and paramed exam..

If sales were a matter OF PRICE EVERYTIME then we would all just represent the companies with the cheapest rates ...regardless of company rating....regardless of service ....regardless of convenience for the customer......then 90% of the carriers wouldn't be in business.

Plus ...you can have the cheapest rates...but it doesn't mean anything if you don't have a system to STAY in front of prospects AT THE SAME TIME REDUCING marketing costs.
