Good FE Company

I am new to this game. Could anybody give me any suggestions at to what FE company to get appointed with? I prefer to go with someone who has good leads, if such a thing exists. Thanks.

I'm a fan of Foresters and Americo. Both do a good job of helping the agents. Of course like everything they have their downsides as well. But overall they are a pleasure to work with.

Also settlers, Monumental, Oxford, Royal Neighbors, American Memorial would be on my recommended list.
My not recommended list would include Lincoln Heritage, old American and New to the list...Forethought.

Baltimore Life comes to mind, especially for FE.

Leads usually come from your up line or some other middle man. Learn to create your own. Either from a filtered list in your rural area or referrals.

My best advice is never take more than a 50% advance!

You'll see the anecdotal service/telephone answering issues when trying to resolve issues with them scattered throughout the forums.

But I think the consensus is that, due to their recent rate increase over at Forethought, they're not too competitive anymore... especially with companies that really want to help their agents by answering the phone, etc.! (Foresters comes to mind for the positive ones).

Why not Forethought?

They have just gotten too poor in customer service and client service to tolorate. Their rates are too high to put up with knuckelheads.

I had a huge contract with them for years and I just ripped it up last month and told them I'm done.

There are too many good FE companies out there to put up with idiots.

I've heard a lot of bad things about them lately. It does not seem like they care of they run off all their producers.
