Good Questions to Ask in an Insurance Interview?

I have an interview with an allstate agency in my town in Canada this Weds. Just wondering what kinds of questions might be good to ask.

I've already been through a phone interview, online assessment, and background check. The agency owner said I just needed to come prepared with questions. What kinds of things should I be asking?

Thanks,

How can you and I partner together to be a very successful sales organization? What are the primary goals of this agency? How do you currently prospect for new clients? How much have you grown in the past 3 years and how much do you plan on growing in the next 3? Do you mind if I play golf on Fridays?

Haha, great start. Thanks for these.

How would you answer questions like the following:

1. Once successful, which friends and family members would you try to recruit into sales?

2. Why aren't your family and friends a good source of sales?

3. Who do you see as your best source of sales? Why?

4. How do you plan on developing a client base within these sources?

I'm coming into this without a huge existing network. These are some questions that I came across, generated from a company that they use for sales profiles. What's the best way to tackle these?

1. None
2. Because I like attending Thanksgiving dinner.
3. People with stuff to insurance and a bank account to pay for it.
4. I thought the idea was for you to teach me to prospect?

just 3 questions.....

1. how much are you paying me?
2. when will you be paying me?
3. will u prosecute me for breaking your knee caps when you fail to pay me?

I would ask for specific, detailed information regarding product and sales training and if you will have unlimited access to a "mentor" who will help you with situations you don't know the best way to deal with and questions you don't know the answers to.

If they tell you not to worry, you will pick it up as you go along then run like hell. The only way to dramatically shortening the learning curve is to get a lot of "hand holding" when you begin. Without it, it will take a long time to become comfortable. Ask him if he is going to "promise" to give you a fish for dinner or if he is going to teach you to catch your own.

If they have a training manual ask to see it. Ask for details on how they prospect and what will be expected of you.
