We wanted to put out some feelers, judge some level of interest on a Group Benefits Management Software Concept.
A few years ago we built a rather in-depth web based solution for a small carrier out of Los Angeles and while we are talking with another potential client, we keep thinking we should make this a full fledged product. Ideally this would be geared towards Agencies that manage Large Group Health Clients while giving those client the ability to manage their employee coverage.
Front End Features:
Custom Built Site with Content Management System
Lead Capture Form
Quote Form (Based on Admin Configuration)
Human Resources Module (Benefits Administration, Billing, Etc)
Employee Module (Manage Coverage)
Administrative Features:
Content Management System
Accounting (Payments, Invoices, Reports, Etc)
Member Management (Manage Individual Members)
Group Management
Plans (Integration with Carriers)
Reports (Canned and Customizable Reports)
User Management (Multiple Levels of Access)
Lead Management (Sales Automation)
Business Rules (Build Automation)
Dashboard

Ideally we come up with a fixed price that includes "X" Amount of hours of Customization, Hosting, Implementation, Data Migration, Updates, Deployment, Support and Training.
Just throwing this idea out there. Feel free to knock it or ask any questions. This could go no where, but we wanted to ask. We don't see this becoming a SaaS like Radius, more of an Boxed type of solution that can be customized to the Agency's specific needs.
