Been off my game since a vacation followed by some in-laws with serious illnesses. Family is doing much better and I may be getting back in the swing next week.
That said, missed sending in an important fax for a more complicated client. Client texted then called me today and said they had called the company and they didn't get the fax yet and asked me to call back. I sent in the fax and then called. The call end something like "Ok, you take too baby."
I thought I was in for a grilling, and one I deserved. I would have given $100 bucks not to make that call, but once I did I felt like million.
The ups and downs in the profession are what make it thrilling and terrifying all at once.
