Hello all

I just signed up for this forum a few days ago and thought I should introduce myself.

I am not an Insurance agent but I did just post my resume on Monster and have been contacted by several agencies. I have a sales background of 12+ years none of it being in Insurance so I'm not sure why they have been the companies to contact except that I suspect they obviously need sales agents.

I meet with Farmers on Thursday and wanted to know something about the industry before I sit down with them.

Can someone please help me understand what I may be jumping into?

I know this has probably come up regularly here so I'll do some searching when I get home but wanted to say hello none the less.
