Hello from Chile

I'm glad to be here but let me tell you up front that my Spanish is really bad...I am from Texas but have lived here for the past 6 years.

I am really new to the Insurance business, my profession for the past 30 years has been designing and developing database driven business applications. Since 1994 I have worked almost exclusively on the Internet developing systems for clients.

My last and current client got me interested in the International Insurance business so I decided to make a change and so far have not regretted it.

Don't mean to be so long in this introduction but I'm not really good at the short funny stuff I normally run into on forums, I'm working on it though.

I am here to learn and if I can help anyone then I am here to help also, probably with technical website stuff.

My signature has my website on it and since it let me put it there I must assume its OK, if not then someone please let me know. I actually have 6 sites up and running and am working on more but felt that all of them would be overwhelming right now.

Thanks

Hi Ken, Welcome.

My Spanish is really bad too, as my Russian, Chinese, Japanese and just about any other language you can think of. However, my Spanish is a lot better than my knowledge of the International Insurance business.

I look forward to learning about International Insurance.

Hi, Ken and welcome. Not to worry about your Spanish. We have members on here who have a difficult time with the English language albeit it is allegedly their primary language.

We will be forming a class in Esperanto shortly for all those who are interested. But first you must pass an Enflish exam with at score of at least 80%!

Welcome. I only know one Spanish word. It is "Shalom." I think it's Spanish.

You forgot to mention the rest of the full Spanish phrase: "Shalom alecheim" to which "Alecheim shalom" is the proper response. Your Spanish vocabulary is limited but excellent, Ed!:twitchy:
