Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and looking to get into life and health insurance. I'm been reading the board and want to be an independent agent. Any advise would greatly be appreciated.

I'm checking out Health Choice One for the health, and going to be talking to Scott soon.

I don't want to be captive, but need training, and willing to start at lower commission. I 'm looking for reputable companies.

How's it going. I'm fairly new to the business just liek yourself but from my experience with Life insurance, Lincoln Heritage has been great for me! Their plans in my opinior are a bit expensive but there is a need for the protection and my clients are very satisfied. Check them out as well as Liberty National. Good Luck!

Hello sunshine! oops, sunset....HCO is a very good organization to be with. I would suggest that you also get with IHIAA (do a search on here). Both have very good training. Scott can be just a little difficult to get hold of, but if you schedule with him, you'll get to talk with him.
I have agents across the country that need training and if it weren't for IHIAA and HCO, I would be able to accomplish very little with the newbies. There are a lot of perks that come with joining IHIAA as you will see.

We have also heard a lot of great things about both IHIAA and HCO. It's rare I hear such a strong percentage of positives about any organization. I also know Scott from HCO personally, he's a great guy who won't steer you wrong.
