Hello!

I just finished an online LH&A course. A company that I contract with sent out information last winter about becoming licensed. I saved the money and went for it! It took me a while because it was all very new to me! :embarrassed: I don't know how people learn it all in a few days! :swoon:

I'm studying now to take the FL exam! :1eek: I hope to take it by the end of the month. Right now I am reviewing the terminology and FL specific laws.

I've worked for five years as a call center rep. I've worked different lines from true customer service, hard and soft sales product sales w/ upselling, outbound product sales and food orders. I am best at customer service and hard sales w/ upselling. My weakest area is soft sales where you have to force customers into making an initial buying decision. I love to upsell on hard sales where the customers are ready to buy the initial product. I love true customer service too where I assist customers with complaints. I hope I can find a "spot" that fits me in the world of insurance!:1smile:It appears to me like most insurance sales are soft sales.
This is a great forum! Thank you for the warm welcome!

Welcome to the forum! Wow, you used more of the smiley faces then any new person has. Great Job!

Welcome.

Any agent who attempts to use that approach is not going to be an agent for very long. Selling insurance is all about helping your prospect make well informed, intelligent decisions regarding the best way to invest their premium dollars. To a true professional agent it really is about helping people. Definitely not about selling them something that they neither need or want.

Oops! :embarrassed:I went to my profile and changed it! :)I must have missed the state selection when I registered! Thank you.:1biggrin:

What kind of cat, catowned?

2 gray tabbies (I suspect our older gray tabby was ferral before she was brought to the shelter. She isn't very friendly but is an excellent hunter. She earns her keep here in FL! :1biggrin: The younger one is very :1err: determined and energetic!)
1 calico (My snuggle bug! :1cute:)

1 orange tabby (He is our "mature" cat. He basically sleeps or watches birds all day.)

We also have a few ferral cats in the undeveloped area behind us that we help neighbors take care of. I have kind neighbors that try to spay & neuter the ferral cats around here.

Thank you for asking! :1smile:Do you have any pets? :1smile:
