Hello, I am an agent for an independent agency. I have been selling insurance now for 4 years. Still new to this all. So look forward to being here and hoping to learn from other and hopefully share some knowledge I have learned.

I am selling crop, home, auto, health, farm, business, and will hopefully in a few weeks life insurance.

Wow, that's a lot to juggle. Very difficult to become an expert at any of those, while you are doing so many. Some might argue impossible.

I do mainly home and auto got some farm polices. Working on getting better at health and crop and business. Learning as I go.

Crop and business are probably going to be more profitable, larger premium, higher retention and overall the best long term bet. Eventually home and auto agents will go the way of the librarian, milkman, or switchboard operator.
