Hello all, I've been reading this forum off and on over the last year and now joining. I'm 25 and have been in the insurance ind. for a little over a year. I started out selling for BankersLife & Casualty and wanted to get into the health ins as well. I then was pulled into the dreaded Mega Life through a guy a met. But that old news only lasted a month and now I've gone fully INDEPENDENT!! Servicing everything from life, health, disability, long-term care, and annuities. Still working on my web design and not sure what to call my new found company. My fiance suggested Cheap & Easy Ins, but I don't think that will fly in IA. I'm up to suggestions. Happy hunting.

If you make it a year in this business, you might just make it. I think the test is 18 months.

I'm not sure about the name cheap and easy ins. Affordable sounds better then cheap to me.

Bankers Life and Casualty is not greedy; they just have a selfish desire for your money and possessions.

Thanks you all for welcoming me. Bankers may not be the best to work for, but I think it was a good first insurance job. It definitely teaches you to bust your butt, otherwise you won't make a penney. Over all I think working for them gave me a lot of knowledge that I can now use against them. You can easily get all the dirt on a company when you work for them.
