Hello everyone. I have been devouring the material on the forum for some time, but I finally joined this month. I cannot say enough good things about this resource and the wise mentors, who are willing to share their knowledge.
I have been a police officer for the last nineteen years, with the exception of the thirteen month all expenses paid vacation to Iraq, courtesy of my Uncle Sam. I am positioning myself to retire next year to start an independent agency. This will also coincide with the completion of my degree in finance. I am looking forward to starting my new career (with some degree of security in the form of the partial retirement).
I look forward to getting to know and interact with all of you. Perhaps, years down the road, I will be able to pay back all of the advice by giving it to others on here.
