My name is David Powers, I am very new to the business but ready to get started. I am about to take the exam for my life, health and annuity license this Saturday. I am wanting to go independent but I am not sure which way to go. I need training and mentoring, but I am very hungry and am determined to make this work.

There are plenty of opportunities on this board to get all kinds of helpful information, training and mentoring. Identifying the kind or insurance that you are most interested in would help us a lot. Each kind of insurance is pretty unique and requires its own approach.
My area of expertise is the Senior Market, however, there is excellent advice and associations for health, life and FE insurance represented here.
