Hi everybody,

I am thinking of changing careers and entering the insurance field. I have spent 20 years in the Mortgage and Commercial lending fields. Any insights that can be provided would be appreciated. Currently I am looking at taking over a State Farm agency.

Welcome to the forum! Search through some of the post on the forum. We have a lot of good info on this forum. Just about anything that you can think about or need to know is here on the forum.

Good luck!
How many years more does the real estate market continue to be depressed? My guess would be another 2 years. That means the general market is not favorable to any field. The best things we can do is to find some income source to support our family. Insurance is a pretty good field.

And a lot of stuff that you definitely do not need and do not want to think about. :D

Welcome!

Frank's right. Watch out for the sharks!

Now one thing Frank and I can agree on is an agent has to have every hair in place out there in the insurance world.

I happen to have the exclusive contract on Agent's Success Hair Tonic which will get you started in the right direction.

As a new member of my tonic of the month club I'm letting you sample all the tonic your hait can hold for FREE! Nothing to buy what so ever.

Just e-mail me with your credit card numbers and watch for my small shipping and handleing charge $239.97 and you will have what most agents only dream about.

And today and today only...I'm going to add 10,000 exclusive leads ready to be called in your home town! Just give me your zip code and I will send you 5,000 business listings printed on my special yellow paper and 5,000 residential listings printed on special white paper and ALL of them have been checked to have a telephone (not scrubbed for DNC) and ready to see your great hair and buy whatever you're selling.

Remember the words Free leads! free leads, free leads! You heard it here first.

I can attest to the effectiveness of his product. It keeps my hair in place and looking very professional. Both of them!

Why would you want to scrub the list against the DNC? (Democratic National Convention). Trying to weed out the rational thinkers as opposed to the igmo's.........LOL:biggrin: Maybe Al will be here and set us all straight.
