HHS issued yet another mandate on Wed 8/17/11. Another federal burden in addition to the rules that many states are constantly throwing into the pot. For instance, Illinois is requiring that documents like the ones described in this Kaiser Health News article also be published in Espanol.

I wonder if/when we'll see a big exodus of health insurance companies from the marketplace? A few have left, but there are over 900 companies still doing business. Hardly a month has gone by this year where HHS hasn't placed additional financial burden on insurers. How can they keep their Administrative costs low if the government keeps requiring more administration???
