Holiday Season Marketing and More

Everyone says do not market FE in November and December. I am thinking the opposite. Mail something holiday related and also use some call lists. Im keeping my advertising ideas to myself for now but they are something like give the gift your family wants. Peace of mind.

Whats the chance of this working? I am paid as earned and life insurance is a small part of my business. I want to hit 3-6k in AP a month consistently which would double my quota. I also have my book of business I am working and doing 1500 AP from it monthly now. This could be included in the 3-6k needed goal.

Most of the business I get from the book is from walk ins, phone calls setting up reviews and personalized letters with quotes attached. The letters seem to work well but since I am hand addressing them and all its very time consuming. The phone calls work but I need to make more to get a better return. The walk ins are never a sure thing.

I have been trying leads, Net-quote and some others. I get 1-2 leads a week if I am lucky.y lead area is 30 miles from my home. These are smaller country cities I work in.

My FE AD budget for now is 300 bucks a month. Yes I know its low but paid as earned caps it. Also I only have roughly 2-3 hours a day max I can implement all of this towards FE business.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Who says to not work the holiday season? I've never heard that. I don't work the week of Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas and New Year but that's just by choice now.

I have worked those weeks and made sales. But, if you think anytime is a bad time to work, you will be right.

JD, you dont know how much this post meant to me:yes: As a new agent I heard that November and December are bad, but that is just hearsay. I know from previous engagements in sales and sales management, I have always made money in November and December. Its nice to see that agents can and will carry right through the holidays. I myself follow the same schedule as you and will do the same for FE, thanks again.

Trust me, "our people" aren't vacationing on the Redneck Riviera come Christmas time.

They're pretty much doing the same thing they do all winter -- waiting for you to show up and sell 'em!
