I picked up The Philadelphia Inquirer this morning and in the first section on page A7 is a full page advertisement about s this amazing card. The headline screams, "Cut off set for free Universal Health Card." Under that it states, "Public gets free card for 30 days just by beating the deadline to cover only the registration fee for the affordable care provided by over 561,000 Doctors, Dentists, Pharamacists aand Hospitals."

Then it goes into an article puportedly by one Jonatan M. Moorhead of the Universal Media Syndicate extolling the benefits of this card. The regisration fee is only $18.00. The monthly charge after the free first month is $49.00, but it does include Doctors Visits, Emergency Room, Diabetic Supplies, Hospitalization, Prescriptions, Hearing, Dental/Orthodontics, Hospice Care, Speciaists, Vision/LASIK Surgery, Podiatry, Maternity, Chiropractic, physical Therapy, Nursing Home, Air Ambulance, and Pediatrics.

About the only things not included are Drug Rehabilitation,Mental Health, and Cosmetic Surgery. I will say that it does sate that "This is not insurance: No one can be refused, no medical exam, no waiting, no forms and no exclusion for any medical conditions." Buried in all the verbiage, there is a sentence that indicates it is a discount plan.

Right now the offer is limited to 18 states, but there will be future announcements for all the other states. It is offered by Universal Healthcard,LLC, Massillon, OH 44647. The ad is a well done professional job.

There you go. They beat Obama and the congress to the punch. Nowhere in the ad does it state what the discount are, and I'll bet you a lot of gullible people will think it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. IMO more than 80% of the U.S. population are naive enough to buy into this crapola or at least consider it. What are your thoughts, guys and gals?;)

Bob, I think there will be a lot of idiots that will sign up for this. They have two different toll-free numbers: one for Singles and one for Families of 2 or more. You must give the operator the free claim number posted in the ad within the 48-hour deadline!

After that response, I am not going to ask if you signed up.

Just post back in a few weeks and let us know how it is working for you . . .

The free part sounds great. Too bad you will eventually have to pay for it.

Maybe Obamaman will delay it like they did the DTV conversion.

I sure am glad I can continue to watch the Outer Limits at least until June . . .
