I live in Miami, Florida and I recently got licensed in P&C I already have my 215 License and doing well. Any suggestions how to stay independent in P&C. HELP!

Seriously, I wish you the best. With the hurricane, I can only imagine how hard it will be to get an appointment, rates are about to go up and underwriting is almost certain to get tighter.
Your best bet is to find a cluster or aggregator or MGA to work with if you truly want to be independent. Otherwise, try to find an independent agency that wants to take on a new producer. You'll have a boss, but you'll have access to multiple carriers.

I am looking to collaborate with a small P&C office\independent agent in order to get into the business here in a mutually beneficial relationship. Would appreciate meeting with you to discuss possible options or at least get a good advise and learn from your experience.
