Or you could maintain your lic as a non res, and keep your book and referrals,

While you build a book in a new state as well

Its not like you have to do face to face sales, Even more so you already have a relationship with your clients

I did same thing 15 yrs ago, and kept the non resident license. Looking back, its one of the best decisions I made. To this day, I still have hundreds of clients, represents 1/3rd of my book, and i continue to get referrals.

At a minimum, just get the non res license and let the book fall off naturally. It will be bring in more revenue then selling the book.
